Coaches sell the dream. Administrators enforce the contract. When that time comes, the legal department—not the coaching staff—will do it . Players: do not fall victim to coaches telling you “don’t worry about that clause in your contract, we’ve never enforced it against any of our athletes.” When the lawyers get involved, the coaches will be nowhere to be found.
