think I'll be doing a real time data analysis on returns for the Democratic governor and me-02 primaries here in Maine on Facebook live tonight. Watch for that to go up at or just before 8pm when polls close, if you are interested.
Ill paste a link here.
Also, please, go vote!
@MassJumbo@realMGHein Potentially but graduation was may 9, before early voting started. Its my pick. Farmington biggest mills vote, followed by other Franklin county pop centers (Jay, Wilton)
@Mapping_Buckeye @jocktag @SpecialPuppy1@Redistricter I can assure you you are wrong but that's ok, been in maine electoral politics for the last 9 years. I was Golden's cm last cycle. When they redistricted they started with counties, then divided one by town.
@Mapping_Buckeye @jocktag @SpecialPuppy1@Redistricter By the way. Its totally ok to say "oh I didnt realize that" and draw a new, slightly redder map, where you dont divide more than 1 subdivision. I'm sure its possible. The legislature passes these maps in a bipartisan manner as required by law. Repubs have a seat at the table.
@Mapping_Buckeye @jocktag @SpecialPuppy1@Redistricter Yes, the law (and interpretation by the legislature) says fewest. The current map has 1 divided subdivision. Does your map have as few or fewer? If not it is illegal.
@Mapping_Buckeye @jocktag @SpecialPuppy1@Redistricter The law says "fewest political subdivisions" no town or city in the current map is split. Only one county is split. 1 political subdivision is split currently. Your map is greater than 1 split political subdivision.
@Mapping_Buckeye @jocktag @SpecialPuppy1@Redistricter This map violates the state law, which is to make a map that crosses the fewest political boundaries. 15 of 16 counties are wholly in one congressional district. Only kennebec county is split. Every town is wholly in one or the other.

Organized labor isn't just a movement, it's the engine of progressive change.
Do you think it's wrong that Susan Collins hasn't had a town hall in 25 years?
Do you think Mainers deserve a Senator who will hold town halls in every county?
If your answer to either question was yes, join me on Monday night in Kennebunkport! RSVP:

I’m honored to have the support of so many Maine leaders and Congressmembers who hold the wealthy and big corporations to account. Together, we will beat Susan Collins and give Mainers the representation we deserve.
If I were Robert Plant and a lady in Mordor had decided to go with Gollum and the Evil One, leaving me to ramble on alone, I'd simply never tell anyone that piece of information.
