@Jenn030303
Wife/now carer to vax Injured husband who has been diagnosed as suffering from a severe type 3 hypersensitivity reaction to covid vaccine & has not recovered.
@DianaJohnsonMP
We are grateful someone with your experience. Like infected blood, vaccine injuries are unheard scandal with victims stigmatized
Help by acting on the recommendations of The Covid Inquiry and reforming the VDPS
Talk without action does not rebuild trust in public health. The recommendations in Module 4 of the COVID-19 Inquiry on the Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme must be implemented with fairness and urgency. Acting on these recommendations is essential to delivering justice for those affected and helping to restore public trust.

1) ๐ฉ๐ช The German ME/CFS Research Foundation has supported 7 research projects with a total budget of โฌ 2.4 million.
It includes a treatment trial of tafasitamab, which targets B-cells, and a genetic study of families with multiple members affected by ME/CFS
A brief overview
@TheChiefNerd husband had a severe reaction to Pfizer-developed an aortic enlargement, met another UK Pfizer injured guy on here-same issue & a US doctor who developed one after covid
All are younger by decades than usual with no history of high BP, family history/genetic predisposition
The Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme was created to provide support for people who have suffered serious harm following vaccination. However, the current fixed payment does not reflect the reality of those affected.
A single set amount cannot account for the huge differences in peopleโs experiences โ from lifelong disability and loss of independence to the devastating impact on families who have lost a loved one.
The COVID-19 Inquiry has recommended that the payment should be increased at least in line with inflation. While this would be a welcome step, simply adjusting the amount for inflation does not address the deeper issue: the payment system does not recognise the severity, permanence, or life-changing nature of the harm suffered by some recipients.
Those who have experienced the most serious consequences need a scheme that properly acknowledges the scale of their loss and the long-term impact on their lives and their families.
A fairer approach must go beyond maintaining the value of a payment from years ago โ it must reflect the reality faced by those who continue to live with the consequences every day.

@UKLabour 22,000 UK vaccine injured still waiting for their damages to be fairly processed
but you've subcontracted out the processing of the NHS's moral duty to those its harmed
to a corrupt company who failed at DWP and MOJ
Do Better
@STVNews Scottish Labour allowed Westminister to sell the Scottish Vaccine Injured out by contracting the Vaccine Damages Payment Scheme to Maximus UK
A company David Linden described as a failing private sector company already imposed on Scottish DWP claimants
https://t.co/fxX9U01Okc
ATOS failed, Maximus got the contract.
Despite setting the bar quite low,Maximus were worse&more corrupt
So why after Crawford failed would another contract be given to Maximus
Unless failure was being overlooked because Labour are loving the corruption?

Why has Wes Streeting awarded the VDPS contract to Maximus who has a history of revolving door with public representatives both here & in the US where
in 2023
9 out of 14 Maximus lobbyists have previously held government jobs
by 2024
29 out of 42 lobbyists came from Government
Wes Streeting promises never to privatise the NHS
but he has not just privitised its moral duty to care for the 22thousand Uk vaccine injured
he has awarded the contract to a company with the worst track record
Why Maximus?
They are associated with incredibly poor performance on existing goverment contracts
They hosted events at the labour party conference
(Pharma were also there)
For those of us who hoped for better from Wes Streeting, prepare to be disgusted
https://t.co/fxX9U01Okc
Crawford's initial contract was for ยฃ6m,they left having taken ยฃ48m &done near SFA
Maximus have been given an initial contract of ยฃ27m but this contract has also been described as also having a bit of'flex'so presumably they will also get x8 for SFA
https://t.co/wfKKYar90Z
@DPJHodges Wes outsourced the NHS's moral duty to those it injured by vaccination to American mega-corporation Maximus notorious for its poor performance, corruption &revolving door for public representatives
The flicking kickback dance is probably the only is dance Wes is now interested in
@VIBUK_Official Looking bleak for Thurs with Maximus now having the VDPS contract
Depressingly disingenuous of Streeting after meeting with representatives of the injured to turn around & give the contract to another failed provider
Some articles on their track record๐ฝ

Wes is about to handover the NHS's moral duty to care for those it harmed to 'money-grubbing megacorporation' Maximus
If you dont know about new VDPS assesor(described as 'inhumane', investigated by anti-corruption watchdog, found falsifying results..)See thread
