Kennedy Pavlisko was recognized at the Lending Hearts Gala in February, alongside David Bednar, who was honored for his continued support of the Lending Hearts organization.

To celebrate ringing the bell and being cancer-free, Kennedy threw the first pitch to David tonight! 🫶

I spent my morning practicing my baseball skills with some of my friends from Lending Hearts!

We were honored to partner with Lending Heats to host over 40 kids and their families for a baseball clinic this morning.

Pediatric cancer patients and their siblings made lifetime memories while rotating through baseball-related stations on the field with David Bednar.

This is 8-year old Kennedy Pavlisko. She has been dealing with Leukemia since she was 6. With the help of ⁦@LendingHearts⁩ and some great doctors, she is on her way beating cancer.

Her final chemo treatment is scheduled for Feb 28

On Feb 29, she plan to RING THE BELL

Together with Lending Hearts, @Pirates and Pirates Charities hosted a group of pediatric cancer patients and their siblings at PNC Park this morning for a baseball clinic on the field.

David Bednar and Vince Velasquez guided the participants through the five-station clinic.

@Pirates @BucsCommunity Big shout out to the sweet guy working the Merch Store by section 103! He got my daughter a pierogi keychain and she was very excited. He is also a cancer survivor and let her know he knows what she is battling! The world needs more sweet people like this!
