@jen_keesmaat Although I'd prefer solid funding, this is the kind of public-private partnership that seems productive. I'm really sad for the loss of the Science Centre.
The thing about visiting Madison, WI (which was beautiful, and the CASE Institute was great) is that you find yourself home a week later thinking "I wonder if you can get deep fried cheese curds in Toronto?"

Random: Shout out to @poplarroad_tdsb teachers. They set up a homework club that's been going all year to provide direct support to kids who need a hand, especially après la pandémie. They make things fun. They're awesome. @tdsb @TDSBDirector
I just saw the most impressive one woman show? Comedic monologue? I’ve seen in YEARS - Jacqueline Novak’s Get on Your Knees. So hilarious in an epic kind of way. I would see if again tomorrow night if I was still going to be in town.
I know the Science Centre building is probably an aging nightmare and that this could make a lot of sense. But I have to admit that I am also really fond of its weird brutalist spaces and would miss it awfully.
It appears the province had already been considering moving the Science Centre to Ontario Place, but has yet to release details. From @JohnLorinc at @Spacing https://t.co/dkGQ8Dj0ck

At my age I feel like a statement from my beloved dad saying "Did you see the joke I left on your LinkedIn [re]post?" should not raise quite so much...dread.
I was discussing online safety with my 12 year old last night when he delivered a line I can't stop thinking about: "I know about catfishing mom, and it's mostly OLD PEOPLE that get scammed. Like you."
Can’t make it out in person to join in #TheBurn at Nathan Phillips Square? Tune in to the commemorative sunset gathering from home via the live stream.

Where on the parenting spectrum does it put you when you text the “Fear is the mind killer” quote to your son before a chemistry test - supportive Gen X mum or weird cult? Wait, maybe don’t answer that. 😁⚔️
Farewell to a spot that held memories of hanging out with friends. Best place for a snack before shopping for puffy or scratchy/smelly stickers or jelly bracelets further down Queen St. At least we still have The Goof. https://t.co/P7JdCm4e3C
