“We are human too. It’s been a long 18 months…”
Standing with my fellow physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants yesterday morning to encourage our community to wear a mask and get vaccinated! ❤️
As a thank you to our customers, we will be lifting the 40-minute limit for all meetings globally from midnight ET on Nov. 26 through 6 a.m. ET on Nov. 27 so your family gatherings don't get cut short. ❤️🏡 #ZoomTogether
It is amazing to see how technology can be used to help with preparation for clinical immersions.
Virtual simulation software, such as i-Human, is used by DO, MD, NP and PA schools to supplement course material.

There is so much more to being a healthcare provider. I love leading a year long virtual mentorship program where we discuss topics such as Billing and Coding, Clinical Productivity and Work-Life Balance for our DNP graduates. #DoctorOfNursingPractice#npslead#nursepractitioner

(3) Love - Love is selfless, sacrificial and unconditional. Love is kind. Love is doing something without expecting anything in return. It’s the greatest of all reasons to wear a mask right now.
(2) Humility - This pandemic isn’t just about me. It’s about my family, my friends and people I don’t even know. People are fighting battles everyday. You don’t know who you are protecting if you just wear your mask.
(1) Gratitude- I’m thankful that we live in a country where if someone can’t find a mask to wear, there’s someone, somewhere who can provide one to you. Or you’ll be creative and make your own mask. I’m also thankful people have the opportunity to work again.
How much effort does wearing a face mask, washing your hands and practicing physical distancing require?
Not much.
I understand you may not "see" what is happening. Those of us working in healthcare "see" it. Trust us.
Please practice these three simple strategies.

Do you find your email inbox overwhelming? If YES... I have a solution for you. Create a TO DO folder in your email. Check your email twice a day (if needed) but when you are bored, don’t scroll through your email. Do something that promotes self-care instead. #successtips
We all have a purpose. Life is a journey for us to enhance the current version of ourselves so we can fulfill our purpose. It is in that moment, when you realize this, that your entire perspective changes. — Me
