Reflecting on prep for my TEDx speech:
It’s true that where I’ve landed makes me happy. (And we aren’t done yet!)
Life is not linear, so it doesn’t always FEEL like the right direction.
If you’re not yet happy where you are, don’t freak out.
You’ll land somewhere wonderful.
Happy National Self Care Day! Today I'm sharing the top three "non-negotiables" I recommend to anyone seeking more balance across their work life, family life, and creative life.
Sending lots of love!

The ability to change perspective when the heat is on; that's a darn fine business skill. Think of a Minecraft game. You're building from one angle, but need to soar above & around to really "see" & understand what you're creating. A useful practice. Thx for the wisdom, pups!
Two years ago I wrote a speech to share with my team at The Smart Agency focused on #CommercialRealEstate. Today, I’m grateful to see the fruits of this work take shape, and amazed at the excellence, professionalism, and precision of this #AUP team. It's gonna be a great day!
Bienvenue à Paris - TEDxAUP begins! It's exciting to be among so many global thinkers and speakers, each of whom brings a diverse lens through which to view resilience. More to come!
I had such an amazing time practicing my TedX talk this past week. Wearing my new outfit, getting to feel the energy of the room, and having an amazing discussion after - I'm feeling pumped to head to Paris! Wishing you a weekend filled with resilience and walking confidently.
Tip #4: GROW YOUR OWN GARDEN OF THINKING. Although I am not a gardener, I understand the concept, which is: You have to plant, nurture, and pay thoughtful attention in order for anything to grow. If you want to be resilient, you must nurture your own garden first, period.
Breaking down Tip #3 for you! Get clear on who you are through KQ™️. If you are seeking resilience and aiming to grow, you have to be aware of who you're listening to. We want to strike a balance between our External and Internal worlds. Where is your information coming from?
Tip #3: GET CLEAR ON WHO YOU ARE. Introducing: Knowledge Quotient™. This is a measure of how much you consume and trust “external knowledge” vs “internal knowledge.” Are you relying on devices + other humans for answers, or do you only trust yourself, ignoring external stimuli?
