@megan_ireland @mplscampaigns I saw the donors report filed with the county and it’s fascinating! The Yes campaign is funded by a ton of small (like $10-ish) donations from all over the country. The No campaign had way fewer donors, but more local and big dollars (many in the $5k-$10k range)

@kevycalves Yeah you definitely need to find people who have similar taste in books. My book club had one member who’s a history professor with a PhD and her choices were always way too highbrow for me. And I could feel her cringing whenever I’d pick the latest Oprah’s Book Club book. 😆

@kevycalves For me, joining a book club with friends helped to ease that transition. Having to finish a book each month felt like an assignment, but the payoff was that it was usually fun to read and the “deadline” involved wine and a reason to hang out with my friends.
