How fucking cool is this?! I won an eBay auction from an organization, and the person who packaged and sent it recognized my name and wrote me a little note!! Made my day!! 👏🏻🥰👏🏻 https://t.co/9f0ioy1knd
Look what came in the mail today! To be honest, I forgot I’d preordered it, but thrilled that I did and I’m excited to dig in, but not until I get some of my own writing done today. Reading it will be a reward for at least attempting to be productive. #BookMail#ClimateAction
My last tweet (about 3 weeks ago) announced that I was finally going to read The Colorado Kid. 6 chapters in I had to put it down for a hot minute. But today, in one sitting, I finished it, afterword and all. As expected, I loved it. Great story about a non-story—a true mystery.
Had this on my shelves a while now, seen all 5 seasons of “Haven” 3x thru, even going so far as to buy it on 🍎 bc it’s not free to stream anymore. Now I am FINALLY going to read “The Colorado Kid” by @StephenKing. So excited, even knowing I won’t see Duke in the pages.
@coreyann @_TaraLynns_ Aw, that stinks about the jumpsuit and no recourse. Hope you enjoy the sweater, though. I have the same one (bought it at Sam’sClub last year) and it’s super soft and cozy.
@aljacksonauthor I’m the opposite, AL; I go through shows way too fast. I’m rewatching Haven atm. Quirky and fun with some solid darkness thrown in from the genius mind of Stephen King. Wish it had more than 5 seasons.
@Yeaster3 @PeterRHann1 I truly hope you realize I typed the lyrics incorrectly on purpose; it’s been a running joke with some friends for about 35 years now.
Scrolling through my feed this morning (admittedly, something I haven’t done in years), and it seems swamped with political tweets and tweets from people I follow but can’t for the life of me remember why or who they actually are. Guess it’s time for a culling.
@JordanS1981 @TheBloggess@ReeseW I’ll look into finding a copy of it, though. Maybe reading a good book I haven’t read before will inspire me to get back to writing some of my own; I really should try to read more and rot my brain with app games less anyway. 🤦🏼♀️
@JordanS1981 @TheBloggess@ReeseW As is usually what happens when great books (or wordy ones) receive their just dues of fame and glory by being turned into movies. Rather bittersweet for the authors I imagine.
