So much for any sleep I might have gotten tonight. Thanks @getnanit for being an expensive baby monitor which then requires me to purchase a subscription, all for nothing to work. Oh and love that your status page claims everything is operational…
When you’re 7 months pregnant and live in scrubs or bike shorts and over sized tshirts and then get an interview with your hospitals stepdown/ICU and literally have zero appropriate interview clothes that fit… oh and all your clothes are packed to move. So fun.
Hi Ontario, if you voted for Doug Ford last night I’m just going to preemptively ask you to not require a hospital in the next 4 years… because while you’ll have a bed there won’t be a nurse to care for you. But you know, enjoy highway 413.
Since the news is officially out in the world these days, don’t mind as my Twitter becomes a place for my pregnant thoughts/musings/etc. Tonight the pregnancy insomnia is real, got 2.5 hours of sleep, been up for 4, and my alarm goes off in 1.5…
You can't complain about the wait in the emergency room and vote for Doug Ford.
You can't complain about your kids school/class size and vote for Doug Ford.
You can't complain about your Mom's care in the long term care home and vote for Doug Ford.
Vote Ford out 2022

Unrelated to the measures announced in ON today, a few words about ‘incidental Covid’ that I think we need to be said. A 🧵:
1. I do think having stats/data about which patients come to hospital BECAUSE of Covid rather than WITH Covid would be helpful and important.
Dear Twitter, men are dumb, don’t marry them. They do things like not renew their Canadian permanent residency and 4 weeks before a trip determine they literally won’t be allowed to board the plane back to Canada… 🤦🏼♀️
