@mackholmberg 1. Ask questions! Make sure you understand WHY each decision is being made.
2. Find a systematic way to track your to-do’s. Easy to forget which notes have been done, which orders have been entered, etc.
3. Check in with patients and nurses before leaving to tie up loose ends.

What’s your best SUPER CONCRETE tip for new interns?

Splurge on a really good eye mask + noise cancelling machine so you can 💤 after night float.
