I am deeply saddened that while a family is grieving the loss of their child they are also having to endure questioning of the legitimate claims around their son's death that were spread by those who are trying to awaken the public to their concerns and fears.
We can fight for all the freedoms. I hope we do.
It's a hurting world right now, in so many ways. Let's breathe into ourselves before we breathe things into others.
"Under the guise of concern for public health and safety, the powers granted to police this week are merely the latest in a series of modern practices designed to control and restrict the movement of Black and Brown people."

If you are feeling a lack of control in your life and you want to fight for justice, choose to work to break down this absolutely oppressive and disgusting caste system we are living in. Then any issues you have around COVID, will take care of themselves.
If you are white and you are mad at my post lean into that and then ask yourself "Have I really done all I could do to see the bigger picture here?" and dive into the work.
