Funny I don’t even have to hire a research team to figure this out. It’s in plain sight. The fifth term sitting Republican congressman Rick Allen that I’m running against on the Republican ticket, went to a groundbreaking for MANUS, which is a new biomedical facility being built in Augusta Georgia. While I agree Manus is a great project and we need API so that we are less dependent on China; this is a heavily federal funded project. The project received 47 million in federal funding which had to be approved by Congressman Rick Allen because he sits on the Energy and Commerce committee which overseas HHS where the funding came from. So Rick attends the groundbreaking as a congressman while his work trucks are sitting in the background of the photo, indicating that his company is a general contractor for the project and his company is once again benefitting from government contracts for funding he approved. The primaries are about accountability. Americans are sick of this. They’re sick of the money laundering, the back door deals and other Shenanigans that go on with government officials. Everyone wants truth and transparency and to clean the swamp until it’s their buddy. 
Let me add, there was not an open bid that I can see. It appears to be a privately negotiated construction contract.
