Welcome to my educator account! Miss Jennerich @ Jones Middle School- blessed to be teaching middle schoolers about TX History and Hope Squad๐ค #sicem#gojags
Hope Squad Happenings lately! Talking about what kindness means beyond just a buzz word, and creating vests of what we want to represent. Shout out to walnut grove for the vest idea!
Awesome field day- both Ms. Pak and Mr. Kline dusted me in bounce house races, but it was still super fun.
I also got to give out my first amazing human awards this year to Liam, Rae, Maverick, and Ava.๐
Today in Hope Squad, we each picked a squad member and created an encouragement poster around their name. Iโm proud of this group and Iโm going to miss them.
Samosas, dulce de leche, kaju katli, and banana moon pies aww just a couple of the foods that represent my students cultures! I love this project weโre doing for many reasons!๐๐
When Iโm hungry and canโt decide where to go, I will remember teacher appreciation week and I will remember u @Whataburger@McDonalds & summer moon coffee ๐
We were wondering what George W Bush orders from IHOP @IHOP@TheBushCenter โฆ the most common answer so far is the 2x2x2 breakfast with a black coffee, because you seem like a traditional guy.
In Hope Squad, I tasked each member to create a lesson for about 15 minutes from a series of topics. I challenged them to go beyond lecturing. They came up with so many cool ideas- stations, simulations, games, etc. I was really impressed. These pics are from Ananyaโs lesson.
Daniel is my last student of the quarter for 2024-25! Daniel is funny, hard working, kind, and thoughtful. I have loved watching him grow this year into a leader in my class. Very proud of this kid!
Ellie pranked our class for April Fools by bringing MASHED POTATO AND BEAN cookies, disguised as chocolate chip cookies.
The best part? At least two kids ate the entire cookie without a word of complaint.
The second best part is she told me before I took a bite.
