@thetrainline Have done that, but I booked without an account and only made the account to get a refund. My booking was then not there so proceeded to have back and forth on Twitter before getting a form, I didn’t realise there was a time limit. I started trying ti navigate the system on 20/01
@thetrainline making your refund process difficult to navigate and the.implementing an arbitrary 28 day cut off seems like an underhand way of cheating people out of their money. Can you explain the 28 day rule? If not you owe me money.
@thetrainline Hi William, I first got in touch with you within 14 days but due to glitches in the system I was unable to complete the forms. Surely you should go from when first contact was made.
@thetrainline I have had the most ridiculous reply saying I am out of time to get a refund. I first tried navigating your refund system over a month ago and the delay is entirely up to train lines impossible system. I have replied to that e-mail and got NO REPLY AGAIN. You owe me money!!!
@thetrainline trying to arrange a refund for a cancelled train through your website and it is completely impossible and, surprise surprise, no way of contacting you supplied on the website to sort it out. Can you advise please?
As an IM resident in the ICU, I felt like my male colleagues were doing tons of lines while I got few. I wondered: am I imagining this? Is this gendered? Turns out others wondered the same. So we decided to study it. The results are now out in @atsscholar.

@thetrainline Hi, the transaction ID for the cancelled train that I am trying to get refunded for is: 922744279203. And that was the last transaction I had under my e-mail address but it isn’t showing up on my account.
@thetrainline I have done that several times. It does not show up on my account. The other journeys booked with that e-mail are there despite me not having an account when I booked them. I made the account specifically to get the refund as per the instructions on the e-mail.
@thetrainline I was not sent a form on the e-mail, I was directed to the website where I had to make an account which shows all the train journeys I have booked under my e-mail address except the one I want to get a refund for.
@thetrainline The trip I need a refund for does not appear in the “My Booking” section so the link you gave me doesn’t work and the website doesn’t either. It is still visible when I put in the 12 digit transaction ID number though. Please advise.
Uda Dennie a photographer from Batam Island, Indonesia noticed that the jumping spiders in his garden were catching raindrops on their heads and wearing them as hats. In one raindrop he captured the reflection of monarch butterflies; in another he caught rainbow sunlight. 🌈😍🥰
Two once very literal expressions: a ‘backlog’ was a large log at the back of the fire that kept smouldering away while smaller wood came and went. And the original ‘deadline’ was a boundary around a prison: any inmate attempting to cross it was liable to be shot.
@hannahmillana This is exactly the kind of thing that would push me to tears as well. It may make you feel ridiculous but it’s really not. As a one off it’s laughable but when it happens in some form Every. Single. Day. It makes you feel unvalued and alone. Hope you got some sleep.
