@beffybadbelly You can have topical NSAIDs (I have ulcerative colitis) so does voltarol (OTC topical diclofenac) give you any relief at all? Aspirin is the other OTC option - can you take that? Otherwise I think you're stuck with what others have said.
@tottenhampunk Have a great half term! Often in my job it's quieter in the school holidays (even though I work for a university) but next week looks crazy π₯²
@tottenhampunk Oooh leafy fibre is a no from me. I tolerate fibre pretty well for someone with IBD and I'd think twice. Peeled root veggies are your friend! Broccoli might not be too bad either, see how you go
@tottenhampunk Look after yourself and go to the doctor if you have any worrying symptoms. Remember us IBDs sometimes need medical intervention when others would be fine. And I hope you feel better soon!
@tottenhampunk Honestly we can't win. I ended up using a walking stick for some of last year (rare UC symptoms, yay) and mostly people were ok but occasionally I'd get side eye and I could see they were thinking I was too young. If only thick skin came with it!
@B4dminResults@TwototheHour@LizardOrman@PacerClara And they're still on the 4 day working week! It's made our bin collections so much better over bank holidays and I assume much better for the people working too
No, 'real disabled people' aren't offended at 'fakers' claiming PIP because it virtually never happens. DWP themselves say it's at 0.0 % . That's because so many people that NEED it are denied it. Let's try being angry at the real problems in society not disabled people.
@Feisty_Waters@theLUCASTDS With this style I bend the wire backwards and forwards a few times at the fold before I put it on. Then I smooth it down over my nose as I fit it and this seems to help the wire settle into a comfortable fit. I hope this is helpful! A fellow masker
