@ESTA_UK @EarthSciPlymUni I’ve tried to send a DM but it’s not working. If you have any left over I would greatly appreciate a couple for my A level Geology students. They aren’t a very big group so 2 or even 3 would be amazing. I can arrange a courier to collect as well. Thanks

With great sadness the Geoweek team heard of the death last week of Chris King. Chris has been hugely influential on many aspects of earth science education in the UK and across the world. Among many other initiatives, he established and led GeoweekUK. He will be greatly missed.

Well after 3 days of intense agony I’m finally on the mend. I am extremely thankful to the wonderful @edalemrt @Buxton_MRT @Derbyshire_CRO and paramedics who quickly responded to the call at Blue John cavern! Only me as a geology student could break my leg down in a cave!

[Alice Kennedy @Alice_E_Kennedy]

WE DID IT! Massive thanks to Chris King, @peteloader1 and to all the speakers/admin/sponsors/organisers/information and food providers! What a thoroughly enjoyable week! @TheESEU @geolsoc @ocrexams @eduqas @ESTA_UK @WGCG_UK @oilandgasuk @KeeleUniversity @KeeleGeology @pesgb
