Another day of NTI. The Special Area team loves workingwith the whole 5th grade on backpack projects. We are working on Google Slideshow skills and for an exercise they wrote some HAIKU poems. They are HAIKUS from 5th graders and have a charm all their own. @CTMontessori1

These "quilts" turned out so well. We listened to Tar Beach written and read by @FaithRinggold. Looked at some of her paintings. I love how one 3rd grader added, "I'm having fun. I'm flying with my friends. I'm in the sky." I love when children are inspired by art!
