Prospective PhD students ๐ก
Interested in evidence synthesis methodology, research methods, or health systems research?
Iโm seeking expressions of interest for PhD projects within JBI, School of Public Health, Adelaide University.
@JBIEBHC
Students will have opportunities to contribute to international methodological initiatives, collaborate with researchers in Australia and overseas, and develop methods supporting healthcare, policy, and research decision-making.

I had the privilege of assessing posters at the Florey Postgraduate Research Conference at the University of Adelaide today. It was great to see the range of projects being undertaken by postgraduate researchers and to have thoughtful discussions about their work.

Happy to be part of JBI, the organisation behind #WorldEBHCDay. Check out how you can get involved in the 2025 campaign, โCollaborative Knowledge Communicationโ: https://t.co/SmEysM2yCY
We are excited to partner with global leaders in #EBHC & launch the #WorldEBHCDay 2025 campaign, โCollaborative Knowledge Communicationโโ because how we share knowledge matters as much as the knowledge itself๐https://t.co/HPF4kdhShv

Honoured to be a founding member of the Asia-Pacific Network for Evidence Analysis, Synthesis and Translation (APN-EAST). Looking forward to collaborating with others across the region to strengthen #EvidenceinformedPractice and policy.

Had the chance to tour the new 2,000-bed Dali hospital in China - part of which is still under construction - and itโs already so impressive in scale and design. It was amazing to see this level of investment in health infrastructure up close.
Had a great time presenting at the APN-EAST Founding Conference as an #evidencesynthesis methodologist and speaking about how #JBI integrates evidence synthesis, transfer, and implementation across its divisions. Thanks to the organisers for such a productive event.
Excited to share that I was involved in the Founding Conference of the Asia-Pacific Network for Evidence Analysis, Synthesis and Translation (APN-EAST), and contributed to shaping the future of #evidencesynthesis and #evidencetranslation across the Asia-Pacific region.
Happy World EBHC Day! Grateful for the opportunity to mentor my HDR student as we explore the power of evidence in shaping better health outcomes. ๐๐ช

@JBIEBHC @Llipke3 @carrieprice78 Currently, our tools capture various constructs (beyond RoB) as highlighted in our mapping paper here: https://t.co/2GIJRAi3lM
@JBIEBHC @Llipke3 @carrieprice78 To clarify, critical appraisal by its name suggests a process, similar to risk of bias assessment. Risk of bias and methodological quality are attributes of the study. Critical appraisal has its own criteria as does risk of bias.
@Llipke3 @JBIEBHC @carrieprice78 Yes, JBI is shifting from Critical Appraisal to Risk of Bias assessment for quantitative systematic reviews. This means our tools will evolve again in the futureโstay tuned!
Excited to share my presentation on systematic reviews of aetiology and risk, along with insights into JBI's future guidance development in this crucial area! ๐๐ Check out the video on YouTube: https://t.co/jZADQewB0F @jbiebhc#EBHC#SystematicReviews#JBIMethodology
