@cathyrusson Excellent analysis. I haven’t this level of empathy for a Defendant or their family in recent memory. She was clearly so ill. Be it her mind or pharmaceutical induced, it was tragic.
@DonnaDkent123 Imagine the irony. A near 80 year old man schooling us on Postpartum, Postpartum Psychosis, standards of care for mental health, and over prescribing. While 2 professional, intelligent young women sell archaic stereotypes.
@GirlFriday_Atl I think a common theme with so many of her providers was “it will get better”. It seems the plan was just to medicate the shit out of her until she past the postpartum time period.
There in lies why this case is so important. Can we finally stop with the “baby blues” mentality?
@reelcrime24 She is specifically named in Patrick Clancy’s Civil Suit. That being said, she treated Lindsay in her very first year as an employed Psychiatrist. The Hospital et all must to be rethinking supervision and training.
@TheEmilySee Imagine the irony. A near 80 year old man schooling us on Postpartum, Postpartum Psychosis, standards of care for mental health, and over prescribing. While 2 professional, intelligent young women sell archaic stereotypes. It’s become a Witch trial at this point.
@_NoseyRen Tufts testified that she told Lindsay she should have one Provider responsible for prescribing all her meds. Yet Tufts continued over a series of 14 appointments to prescribe, change, add and reduce medications. Not once reaching out to one of Lindsay’s other Providers.
@DonutsBaga This entire trial is about sentencing. A State Mental Hospital or a Prison. That’s it. That’s literally it. Massachusetts Tax Payers need to wake up. These million dollar showcase trials need to stop. It’s called a Plea. Offer them.
@JigJammer5y@FreeKarenRead3 Zero doubt. Lindsay admits she killed her kids. Her Lawyer admits she killed her kids. Her parents admit she killed her kids. This isn’t a “who done it”.
And I don’t know what she “knew” because I’ve never suffered a psychotic episode.
@TheCarolErskine@defense_diaries@hippos_honk I also think Reddington’s objection serves as a message and not a legal one. It’s to protect Lindsay from having to watch it. It’s clear every photo and video is torture for her. There will be jurors that see this as performative, unnecessary and maybe even sadistic.
