I took a career break and have somehow ended up in the paper ๐ The remainder of my year off will sadly involve much less football, and newspaper articles.
Thanks to @acunnane10 for the great piece.

๐งต306 confirmed ACL injuries in #WOSO top tier leagues around the world between January 2022 and December 2023.โฌ๏ธ
At least 145 occurred in 2022, 161 in 2023.
Already one in 2024 with Sam Kerr but she will be in next month's list.
First, the list of ACL injuries of 2023 ๐
And again: "If OT associations around the world did not make actions, we can and will do "
I'm proud to announce that we have formed a group of 500 OTs around the world who are willing to volunteer to treat our brothers and sisters in Palestine virtually or face to face when the times allow us (in Arabic), and who are volunteering to teach OTs around the world to be prepared as the world just being crazy (in English).
The door is always open and you are more than welcome for more collaboration and participation!
AS I ALWAYS SAID: We don't have guns but we have knowledge, and by knowledge, everything can be possible!
This is our YouTube channel free for all OTs :

Also, I'm trying to find more trainers/Lecturers all around the world who are willing to help us in this mission and specialize in any rehab during/after-war topics in the OT field :
Mental Health
Amputation
Stroke
Spinel injuries
Burn
Cerebral palsy
Others
Please if you would like to participate in this contact me directly and share with others please. Thank you ๐ท

'You come out of it feeling better and stronger, it lightens the mood. They're miracle workers.'
Great to see the value of occupational therapy being promoted in this article from @nottslive. ๐

This is despicable and heart breaking. Iโd like to do that to their car and see how they feel about it then. Many wheelchairs cost the same as a small car, but thatโs only the financial impact of the damage done. Imagine having your legs smashed to bits #RightsOnFlights
