I finished the 5th draft of my novel! This was the first edited draft, not one written from scratch which is exciting. In making this draft I improved the content, completely replaced a scene, and cut 5,570 words!

Next up: a short break followed by more edits to create draft #6!

Out of random curiosity I decided to go back and look at the really really old versions of my novel (2016-2019) and one of the partial drafts starts with "once upon a time." This isn't a fairytale. What was I doing? 🤣 (I'm saying this lovingly.) #AmWriting #WritingCommunity
