For the MOU to hold and result in a lasting peace, we must restrict aid to Israel immediately & make it clear that we will not defend them should Iran opt to strike in response to Israel’s attacks in Lebanon.
Israel has not responded to our verbal & written demands—that is not going to change, unless we change it by taking action.
Israel claims sovereignty & continues to threaten our peace deal, yet they rely on us to bail them out. This is calculated.
We have to respond accordingly and stop this cycle once and for all.
Lead with action: remove their leverage, otherwise they will not take us seriously.
An open SOH & peace in the region have to be our focus. Israel is playing spoiler—we must limit their ability to do so.
Americans realizing they spent $75 billion fighting Iran, then another $300 billion rebuilding Iran, just to reopen the Strait of Hormuz that was already open before the war started
@TheoVon may be the happiest accident in modern media: a comedian who stumbled into philosophy without ever losing his sense of wonder. He possesses an almost magical ability to turn absurd stories, awkward confessions and rambling observations into moments of genuine insight. His genius lies not in appearing smarter than everyone else, but in reminding us that wisdom often comes disguised as humor.
What makes Theo special is his authenticity. He is curious without being pretentious, vulnerable without seeking sympathy and hilarious without cruelty. Millions of people tune in because they sense something rare: a man genuinely trying to understand himself and the world around him, inviting everyone else along for the ride.
In a culture overflowing with experts, influencers and carefully crafted personas, Theo Von remains gloriously human. He is a storyteller, a seeker and perhaps the closest thing America has to a modern folk philosopher. His wisdom is not delivered from a mountaintop or a university podium. It arrives unexpectedly, wrapped in laughter, humility and a wonderfully strange perspective on life.
That may be Theo Von's greatest gift: proving that sometimes the deepest truths are spoken by the person least interested in sounding profound. https://t.co/4YVPLP9NHI
My comment saying we can’t explain it to you because we don’t have the answers ourselves but we’re funding it got deleted. It was probably for the best because the disgusting display of men saying I’m “the reason they should repeal the 19th amendment” was an embarrassment to humanity.
The amount of people saying that the UFC and TKO were funding the whole thing was also mind blowing. Here in America we have an unfortunate amount of people that can never see the gray areas. While UFC and TKO are supposedly funding the construction, and things like that 10-12 million dollars of tax payers money has been used for things like security, emergency services, ect. Even with the major lack of transparency from our government that we the people fund, this information isn’t hard to look up. These close minded people also think we won’t be funding the new “ballroom.”
For the record I don’t agree with OUR White House holding any events that use our tax dollars and distract them from doing their jobs.
I’m far from a feminist but the fact that there was so many comments disregarding my opinion because I’m a female is disgusting and I hope none of those men have daughters.
The amount of men responding to a comment I made in disagreement with OUR White House hosting the UFC fight is mind blowing. Apparently I am “the reason the 19th amendment should be repealed.” There were so many disgusting comments disregarding my thoughts because I’m a female. As I lay here snuggling and watching cartoons with my grand daughter I’m sad this is still a thing. I’m no feminist but what the actual hell is wrong with people. Extra thankful for my husband this morning.
@prand1167@mark_slapinski As a mom I’d prefer the people in the White House not hold events period and actually focus on the job we voted for them to do and pay their salaries for. I’m not sure why anyone assumes because I don’t agree with this that I agreed with anything in the past.
For all of you saying we’re not paying for it, get real and wake up!! You probably think we aren’t paying for the “ballroom” either. We might not be paying for all of it but you best believe in some way we’re paying for it. “Where’s the receipts?” Would insinuate we have transparency and to that I would again say WAKE UP!!
Elon Musk is not stealing from you.
Gavin Newsom is stealing from you.
Karen Bass is stealing from you.
Tim Walz is stealing from you.
Elizabeth Warren is stealing from you.
AOC is stealing from you.
Becoming wealthy does not make you evil.
The people who take from you, promising to fix problems and then enriching themselves while trying to get you to hate those they're taking the money from... are evil.
If you're angry about Elon Musk becoming the first trillionaire after a lifetime of innovation just wait until you hear about how the federal government steals over five trillion dollars from the American tax payer per year.
It took Elon 36 years of work.
In that time the federal government stole 105 trillion dollars in taxes. Not to mention the 40 trillion they took out in debt.
Did they solve world hunger? Did they give you free healthcare? Did they give everyone a house?
No. They blew up a couple million people living near Israel.
But, yeah. Elon is the real problem.
Well good news Iran nuclear ambitions will be set back 1 to 2 years..
This is great news considering Iran was a month away from a nuclear weapon 30 years ago....
You cant make this BS up
@216_AD@realstewpeters I understand that but I honestly didn’t think he’d win the nomination. There’s a lot of terrible politicians that nobody can seem to stand in their state but they keep winning anyway.
