@Billius27 As variants become more contagious, less deadly and vaccine protection wanes and because "so and so still got covid even though they always wear a mask" there is naturally a decline to support of these "health" measures. And there's mandate fatigue, plus it is too hot!

You let your voice be heard for issues that are important to you regardless of which party is in power.

@Billius27 The voter turn out was crap, but it has been below 50% in recent elections. 2011 was 48% voter turn out.

Although I voted, I honestly think a lot of us are just exhausted and apathy may have more to do with the pandemic than anything.

@DFisman Yes, we should protect children (everyone really). Hepatitis/covid connection goes back at least to 2020, but has largely been a footnote.

But you're missing the ability to time travel. The "wanting this to be over" movement is accelerating faster then the ACTUALLY being over

Showing real positions and facts is what is needed. And, can you send a link showing the Cons that received pro-life money? Can't find it anywhere

I have though been focused on issues that are much closer to home. The fires that currently are burning me...like joblessness, disability and food.

@chicknbell @Billius27 She absolutely does deserve better! The pandemic has disproportionately disadvantaged vulnerable communities such as elderly & those with chronic health conditions. I have RA too & understand the pain & drug shortage impacts. I have no solutions but a great deal of empathy.
