Sometimes less is more. I’ve enjoyed creating two water colour paintings using only three water colour pigments, masking fluid, crackle glaze and salt. Both paintings feature the northern lights.#Watercolourpainting#Watercolour#northernlights
As a young teacher, I remember the shock and grief that was felt across the whole teaching community. Seventeen little lives that ended so tragically. 😢
Remembering the Angels of Dunblane and their teacher on the 30th anniversary of that tragic day.
Thoughts, love and prayers to their families, friends and everybody affected.

It’s been a long time coming, but we finally made it to The Dome. This has to be the most Christmassy building in the whole of Edinburgh. It was worth the wait and such a treat. 🎄#edinburgh#edinburghchristmas#Christmas2025#thedome
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Celebrating the release of Doc Hartley’s ‘Come On’. Teacher by day, musician by night, he’s a superstar and I’m not biased despite him being my brother. 😉

So proud of our daughter, who is performing with the National Girl’s Choir at the Lammermuir Festival. It’s a rare thing to see them in Dunbar so please do come along and support them. @NYCOScotland@LammermuirFest@dunbar_grammar
Residents are reminded to be on their guard against scammers using fraudulent QR codes. Our staff recently removed QR code stickers from parking meters at Yellowcraig, Whitesands and Shore Road, Dunbar. We don't use QR codes on any parking signs or pay and display machines.
