תשע וחצי בערב עכשיו, לפני שעתיים חזרתי מחו"ל. אני כבר עם מדים ונשק, בדרך דרומה למילואים. אני הולך למלא את תפקידי כקצין אג"ם של החטיבה שאחראית על הגנת הגבול עם ירדן ומצרים. כמו כולם אין לי מושג כמה זמן אהיה מגוייס ומה יוליד יום. כמו בכל אינספור הפעמים בהם שירתי במילואים, גם הפעם, כל עוד אהיה על מדים לא אכתוב כאן את דעותיי האישיות.
אבל רגע לפני שאני גוזר על עצמי שתיקה, אני מבקש לכתוב כאן כמה מהמחשבות שלי.
1. אין שום דבר בעולם שיכול להצדיק טבח של מאות בני אדם חפים מפשע. מאות הטובחים הם תתי אדם מהסוג הנחות ביותר. כך גם מי שתומך ומצדיק אותם.

2. עכשיו זה זמן מלחמה, הדבר הראשון כרגע הוא להגן על הבית, על המדינה.
שלא נתבלבל, זו אינה "מלחמת אין ברירה", אפשר היה למנוע אותה, אבל כעת זה כבר מאוחר מידי. כעת אין ברירה אלא לאחוז בנשק ולהגן על אזרחי ישראל.

3. אני הולך להגן על המדינה שלי מפני אויבינו. האויבים שלנו הם ארגוני טרור רצחניים אשר נשלטים על ידי קיצוניים איסלאמיים. אסור שטבח של חפים מפשע ישראלים יענה בטבח של חפים מפשע פלסטינים.
חשוב לזכור, העם הפלסטיני הוא לא האויב שלנו. מיליוני פלסטינים אשר חיים כאן איתנו בין הים לירדן, הם לא האויב שלנו. בדיוק כמו רוב הישראלים כך גם רוב הפלסטינים, רק רוצים לחיות את חייהם בשלווה ובכבוד.
שני העמים שחיים פה, העם היהודי והעם הפלסטיני, שבויים כבר עשרות שנים בידי מיעוט דתי אלים. בשני הצדדים, מיעוט דתי אלים מושך את הסכסוך לאלימות מזעזעת. כן, אני משווה בין ראשי החמאס לבין ראשי הציונות הדתית. בשני הצדדים תפיסה דתית קיצונית מכתיבה התנהלות אלימה.

3.המלחמה הזו תסתיים במוקדם או במאוחר. בסיומה שני העמים יהיו חייבים לערוך חשבון נפש עם המנהיגים. עלינו להתעורר ולא לתת לקיצוניים לשלוט פה. הפלסטינים והישראלים יהיו חייבים להוקיע את הפונדמנטליסטים. הישראלים יהיו חייבים להעיף מהשלטון את בן גביר, סמוטריץ' וחבורתם, והפלסטינים יהיו חייבים להעיף מהשלטון את ראשי החמאס.

4. ברגע השבר הגדול ביותר של החברה הישראלית מתגלה האמת. מתגלים אוהבי המדינה האמיתיים, אלה שעושים. לעומתם נחשפת ערוותם של עלובי הטוויטר הטיקטוק, חבורה של אפסים שחוץ מלטנף ולהסית, לא תורמת דבר למדינת ישראל. זו שעתם של העושים, מגיני ישראל. בסוף המלחמה נבוא בחשבון עם האפסים גיבורי המקלדת.

5. בתוך הכאב המחריד והשבר העצום, אני מנסה לחפש רסיסי תקווה. זמן קצר לאחר מלחמת יום כיפור הנוראית, נחתם הסכם השלום בין ישראל ומצרים. עלינו להפנים כי אין נכס ביטחוני גדול יותר מהשלום. גם הצבא החזק ביותר לא יכול להגן על המדינה כמו ששלום מגן. לעולם דרך השלום תהיה עדיפה על דרך המלחמה, זו שאנחנו צועדים בה כבר יותר מידי זמן.
בסוף המלחמה, אחרי שיקברו אלפי הרוגים ישראלים ופלסטינים, אחרי שנסיים לשטוף את נהרות הדם, נהיה חייבים להבין כי אין ברירה אלא ללכת בדרך השלום, שם טמון הניצחון האמיתי.

זהו, עכשיו שקט, אני עוזב את המרחב הוירטואלי. תיכף אגיע לבסיס ואתרום את תרומתי להגנה על אזרחי מדינת ישראל. הלב הקרוע עם משפחות הנרצחים והנעדרים.
