Very excited to receive a box of shiny new books in the post this morning. My new monograph, 'Lesbian Intimacies and Family Life: Desire, Domesticity and Kinship in Britain and Australia, 1945-2000' has finally made its way out into the world!

This is really disappointing and it's also totally predictable. Haters gonna hate BUT there are a few things you can do to help prevent this from happening in your exhibit.

This is really good. Has simple, straightforward interventions that are low key, not about having a stand off or a fight, but tactical disruption. Please share.
Tube on strike, I dawdled to Paddington on Friday. Passing the old wrought iron sign for Pizza Express, I was reminded of an event 30+ years ago, when I got caught up in a drama that resulted in a divorce, two marriages and many changed lives.
It began with a heart attack 🧵

This is a completely bonkers interpretation of the Forstater tribunal result. Forstater won because CGD had no policies in place and SENT EMAILS saying they were discriminating against her because of her belief. That doesn't mean 'women are free to say what they believe'.
Sandra Willson's posthumously published memoir, mostly written in prison, is an extraordinary account of trauma, resilience and the tragic result of criminalising & pathologising homosexuality. Review by Sarah Attfield at @ConversationEDU.
