@MichaelRosenYes I always struggled with Shostakovich and Rostropovich, pronouncing each one very differently, until I moved to Azerbaijan and learned a bit of Russian. Now I have a decent go at both with some consistency.

Just remembering the only Manchester derby I ever got to was in 1993 when @Jenntickle told me to put on a tie, lent me a Ladbrokes jacket & helped smuggle me into Maine Road as her co-worker. Niall Quinn scored first & Cantona equalised. It was great! Best ⚽️ city in the world!
