From the @AllisonInquiry yesterday. I remember this story when it happened in 2022.
Carol Pearce went to Shoppers Drug Mart for her booster & died 7 minutes after. The media and health officials immediately went to work to cover it up as a “natural causes” death.
But what was truly insane about this story was not one Canadian who witnessed this happen left the line to get their shot. That’s how captured and trained the public are in Canada. Critical thinking doesn’t exist amongst the masses.
George Chuvalo might be the toughest man I have ever seen.
Not just going toe to toe with Ali or Frazier. Not just that he never went down in 93 fights.
He lost 3 sons and his first wife to drugs and suicide…and still found a way to keep fighting.
Then for years he tried hard to help others avoid the same fate.
Something I will always admire.
May he now find his peace. 🕊️
GOOD MORNING — WELCOME TO DAY 3 OF THE ALLISON INQUIRY
Good morning, Canada, and welcome to Day 3 of the Allison Inquiry.
Today’s proceedings begin at 8:30 a.m., as more Canadians come forward to share deeply personal experiences of injury, loss, and the lasting impact these experiences have had on their lives and their families.
These are difficult stories to hear—but they must be heard. Behind every testimony is a person, a family, and a life that has been changed.
We invite Canadians across the country, and viewers around the world, to listen today with compassion, respect, and an open mind.

Constable Helen Grus was an investigator with a child abuse and sexual assault unit in Ottawa when she noticed an unusual pattern in childhood deaths in early 2022.
She became concerned about what appeared to be a tripling of childhood deaths and began investigating the sudden deaths of infants, including whether there could be a connection between the vaccination status of their mothers and the deaths of breastfeeding babies.
For conducting what police deemed “unauthorized” investigations, Constable Grus was charged with Discreditable Conduct under the Ontario Police Services Act and ultimately found guilty.
Her testimony raises profound questions about the independence of police investigations, and what happens when an investigator believes there may be a serious pattern involving public health, but is prevented from pursuing it.

This is what my friends back home are now seeing on their local news outlet’s Facebook page. The place I used to work as a reporter. This #onlinenewsact is a huge hit for democracy and freedom of information. I’m so disgusted by this move by the #governmentofcanada#shame !

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau defends the right of protesters in China to "express themselves" as they stand up to the government's draconian Covid measures.

Let's be clear: there is no legal justification for using the emergencies act.
The broad powers the government has granted to police curtail Charter rights across the country.
This risk of abuse is high.
The emergency declaration should be immediately revoked.
