🌜NASA is going BACK to the MOON🌛
The MOON travels around the Earth🌎in a circle called an orbit🌕 It takes the Moon about 29 days to go from one new Moon to the next🌑As it rotates around the Earth, different areas of the Moon that are lit by the Sun🌞These changing shapes of the Moon are known as the eight lunar phases🌙The first is the New Moon which occurs when the Moon is positioned between the Earth and the sun☀️ During that time, the Moon is invisible against the backdrop of the Sun in the sky. The second phase is called the Waxing Crescent. Waxing means ‘growing’ or expanding in illumination, while the word Crescent refers to phases where the moon is less than half illuminated. Next is the Waxing Half Moon or First Quarter which happens when the moon is at a 90-degree angle to the earth and sun… with half of the moon illuminated and half in shadow. The fourth phase is known as Waxing Gibbous. The word gibbous means humped, and refers to phases when the moon is more than half illuminated. The Full Moon occurs when it is behind the Earth, and the sun shines upon it. The sixth phase is called Waning Gibbous—waning means ‘shrinking’ or decreasing in illumination. The penultimate phase, Waning Half Moon or Last quarter, is the opposite of the waxing half-moon. The final phase is the Waning Crescent meaning ‘shrinking’ or decreasing in illumination. Why do Planes Avoid Flying Over Tibet🇨🇳? ✈️🚫
Airplanes fly all over the world, but there’s one massive zone where almost none ever go. It’s more than five times the size of France, and if you look at a flight radar, the skies are empty. That zone is the Tibetan Plateau🌏 There are three main reasons🛫 First, it’s the highest plateau in the world at 14,800 feet, with peaks like Mount Everest. In an emergency, planes need to descend to 10,000 feet, which is almost impossible here. Second, the weather is extremely unpredictable, with strong winds and sudden turbulence. And third, there are only five airports in the entire region, leaving almost nowhere for an emergency landing🛬 Enjoy this short Video⬇️ https://t.co/4jqJmj83Ap
