Thanks to everyone who joined me and @catmuseumnyc in Stuyvesant Park to color @poorlycatdraw's cat coloring books on August 15! We got so lucky with both the guests' artistic talent and the weather.

Check out photos from our Color the Cats pop-up in Stuyvesant Park! 🐱🎨 Families and neighbors colored the quirky cats of artist @poorlycatdraw. It was an afternoon of community, creativity, and music. Photos are live at https://t.co/X4IjM7zFXi #CatMuseumNYC #ColorTheCats #NYC

I wrote an article for @w42st about becoming an NYC cat history tour guide (by way of @catmuseumnyc): https://t.co/UOtBzzhmN7

Cats About Town Tours & I are hosting an indoor talk about the cat history of NYC on Feb 2 at Enoch's Coffee (a cozy community space) in #hellskitchen. Tickets at https://t.co/hlC2bceFwl. February's theme is felines & feminism! It's a great opportunity to connect with #cat lovers

[Jenny Pierson @Jenny_Pierson]

Cats About Town Tours was featured in @people! I'm excited to join the dynamic duo of @HatchingCatNYC & Bodega Cats of New York as a guide (weekends this spring). https://t.co/I2tZCLTuFc

@NYCMayorsOffice I've gotten four different kinds of errors since 10am. At one point it let me in for the pier that I can't get to, so I refreshed and lost it forever 🤦‍♀️

We reached our first fundraising goal, but we have so much more to do! Thank you all for your support of the Cat Museum of NYC. We are hard at work registering as a nonprofit. Anything above and beyond will help us make the museum the best it can be. https://t.co/NpI3lyPBD5

by @poorlycatdraw (aka Brazilian artist Heloísa Nora). Also featured: paintings by Milka Montero and prints by Jayne Cooper. Very special custom engraved wooden keychains by Taleology. And music by @HouseCallVetNYC. More special guests/features to be announced... and stick around

[catmuseumnyc @catmuseumnyc]

The Cat Museum of New York City is thrilled to announce our first-ever public event—and you’re invited! Sunday, May 19, 2024, 7pm. Visit https://t.co/63OTx7HtyD. Cohosted by @dennydaniel of the Museum of Interesting Things as part of their Secret Speakeasy series...

[Jenny Pierson @Jenny_Pierson]

...and, of course, @catmuseumnyc is for cat artists who help rescue cats, like @poorlycatdraw! Although the cat museum will be in NYC someday, this artist Heloísa Nora is based in Brazil. She sent us the museum's first art pieces, and she's awesome!

I'm proposing/dreaming that @catmuseumnyc will be a space for cat lovers, art enthusiasts, and cat rescuers (everything feline except the cats themselves!)...

@poorlycatdraw I love this! Move over, hot girl summer; it's time for feline fanny-pack fall.
