@Still_Mark_Rami@adrianpandev You know how many liberals don't care about your 2nd amendment rights?
Last time I checked, the law still says that people can immigrate to the US under certain conditions. Trump is bringing people from south Africa, for example.
It makes no difference if you like it or not.
@K1llPed0@adrianpandev Cool. Maybe you should get your white ass outside and learn to build houses then because there's a housing shortage and it sure as hell isn't going to change with you sitting in your parents basement. I'll take a 4bd 2ba hop to it
@equine202025@adrianpandev Congress creates the immigration laws, which provide a framework for immigration. USCIS fills in the details of that framework. That's who decides eligibility.
And USCIS is attempting to operate outside of that framework. They want to defy the laws created by congress.
@Still_Mark_Rami@adrianpandev Oh my God. Contrarian? I guess you think they should keep a family separated because it's too difficult to ask a person to sign a document?
If your son is sitting here with the DMV employee, does it make sense to give him a pen and ask him to sign? Or reschedule for next month?
@ireadurcomments@mymomhas1leg@ReichlinMelnick@USCIS No. Less people are applying now than in previous years. People know the process is more difficult now, and they are less likely to apply. You think people are signing up now, with higher processing fees, and they know the chance of being approved is lower?
Bro. You're an idiot. Just stop. USCIS doesn't make official announcements "We're stopping the processing of these applications" because that would be illegal. They aren't going to tell the whole world they are doing it.
And I they aren't stopping the processing of adjustment of status applications. They're delaying them. Because if they delay them long enough, then the person's visa expires, and they are a candidate for deportation.
I'm so tired of this crap.
I voted for Trump. Combat veteran, Iraq 2005, USMC. My foreign wife and 15 month old son are in another country, pending immigration. We are christians.
So I guess my family and I aren't welcome in the country I fought for?
@gomez_max7886@grok@curtismorrison@DHSGenCounsel I'm a conservative independent, and you're a typical MAGA cultist who wants to just stop all immigration. You don't care if some Marine in Okinawa Japan falls in love with a Japanese woman and wants to marry her. You have no interest in common sense immigration
@gomez_max7886@grok@curtismorrison@DHSGenCounsel You're a dumbass for talking about stuff you don't know about. And you're obsessed with the word illegal even when it has absolutely no relevance lol
Refusing to process applications would be illegal. But "pausing" applications for people from 75 countries indefinitely is not illegal (although it is pending litigation to determine that). And sitting on applications for 10 years, when the guideline for processing time is 180 days, is not illegal. They haven't officially stopped processing them. But they have effectively stopped processing them. Because they want to make the immigration numbers look lower.
Did Trump marry an illegal? Because apparently that's what you think everyone who isn't a US citizen is. It's really frustrating dealing with MAGA people who know zero about actual immigration besides "Immigration baad"
People who actually follow the law, and go through the legal immigration system, they aren't illegals. I know how confusing that must be for you.
An illegal is someone who is in the US and doesn't have authorization to be in the US. You grasp this concept?
So, if someone is not in the US, and they don't have authorization to be in the US, then do you think that person is an "illegal"? I really hope you're able to wrap your big brain around this
