@stan_sdcollins When I was in Newfoundland and Labrador on a bus tour two years ago, I remember delicious homemade bread or rolls being served with every meal. Our group ate in the Shallow Bay Motel restaurant twice 😋 We also stayed at the hotel in Rocky Harbour for one night. Beautiful place!

@GrayMarker99 I was here last summer with @globusfamily bus tours during my first trip to Newfoundland and Labrador! 😊 We saw plenty of heritage sites (the focus of the tour) and lighthouses galore! Loved every minute. I feel compelled to move there now.

From a choiceboard, they built structures and showed them successfully withstanding forces right before our 👀! Future engineers! 🥹

Spring is sugar bush time! I just went on Thursday with a couple of classes. If you’ve read #MapleMoon, you’ll know something about Indigenous Peoples’ historical connection to maple syrup making. You can listen to the Anishinaabemowin language and read in English! #duallanguage

@MitchBlimkie I’ve done that before! Shoes were the same colour but not the same height - so how did I not notice until I got to the front door of the school?!? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Since I only lived 5 min away I ran back home to fetch a matching pair. It made for a much more, um, evenly balanced day! 😅🤪

@EmilieMcKiernan It just went up to $200 per year to do the same here in ON, Canada due to “inflation.” 🙄 Meanwhile, the building has been sitting empty on the most expensive lot money can buy since the beginning of COVID as staff continue to “work” remotely.
