GA passed the law to prevent a certain demographic from voting, to help the GOP state legislature remain in power. Total Jim Crow.

Many elderly GA citizens—like my dad—don’t have birth certs. He was born at a time when hospitals only admitted Whites.

Despite the seating of a slew of unqualified federal judges, one hopes that when these new laws are challenged, the judiciary dismisses most of them out of hand.

@RBReich @RBReich I want Dem legislators to adopt a new mindset—one in which they stop assuming the GOP will eventually regain power, and stop worrying what will happen when they do. Enacting tons of policies that benefit the overwhelming majority of citizens should do it!

Let the state go to every single home in GA, rural and urban, and if any adult citizen is w/o a photo ID, take a photo of him/her, and give him/her the photo ID there & then.

Do that, and I will stop claiming the unfairness of those ID laws.
