It's kinda brilliant, really. In all of those scenes, Mizi looks conventionally attractive, she's supposed to be "hot", yet looking at it doesn't make you feel that. It's unsettling, sad, revolting. Both due to seeing her dead, empty gaze, and all the context surrounding it.

no one touch me 🥹 im just so glad gujou found someone like chin-lan. my heart hurt so much for her in the beginning when she was yearning for ibuki. im so happy she now has someone who yearns for her and is open and forward about her feelings 🥺

It was lovely how their passions became the vehicle to get to know and bond with each other. From its creative direction and storyboards to its little pop culture references, I adored every single part of it. It leaves a big mark on me.
