@thsottiaux For the TUI, the ability to turn off auto accept for decisions when planning (i.e. no countdown timer). Also, reasons why the top decision is recommended.
New AI models every 2-4 weeks for the next 2+ years
New Data Centers are still being built
The entire field of programming is already up ended. No one codes by hand anymore. We are in a new era of computers. And it’s still early.
Do you comprehend the scaling laws yet?
If you are a software engineer "experiencing some degree of mental health crisis", now hear this, because I've been coding for 50 years since the days of punched cards and I have a salutary kick in your ass to deliver.
Get over yourself. Every previous "programming is obsolete" panic has been a bust, and this one's going to be too.
The fundamental problem of mismatch between the intentions in human minds and the specifications that a computer can interpret hasn't gone away just because now you can do a lot of your programming in natural language to an LLM.
Systems are still complicated. This shit is still difficult. The need for people who specialize in bridging that gap isn't going to go away.
As usual, the answer is: upskill yourself and adapt. If a crusty old fart like me can do it, you can too.
@AnthropicAI Your support refuses any refund/credit for an accidental Max upgrade I haven't used, then said 'further replies may go unmonitored.' Already used my 'one refund per customer' months ago when I went on vacation (you don't offer pausing). Pretty disappointing service.
My Bullseye Billiards #buildinpublic app has stalled for a couple of weeks because I've been waiting on @googledevs to approve my developer account so I can submit the Android app to the @GooglePlay store.
Bullseye Billiards #buildinpublic update. Got crash and bug reporting integrated using @Instabug. I love the new subagent feature of #claudecode. My architecture compliance subagent that inspects the diff between my current branch and main works well.
Bullseye Billiards #buildinpublic update. Got payments going with RevenueCat, which was easy, but I discovered some architectural issues with previously generated code. Fortunately, I made an architecture compliance #claudecode agent, which worked really well after some tweaking.
Bullseye Billiards #buildinpublic update. Got the realtime database with #firebase going for saving favorites. My architecture guardrails seem to be helping, as I haven't needed to re-prompt much. And the generated code is getting more consistent as more patterns get established.
Bullseye Billiards #buildinpublic update. Got searching shots and Google auth with Firebase implemented. Discovered a new handy feature of #claudecode where you can have the https://t.co/knn1cbKnUK file import other files using @ and can verify using /memory.
Bullseye Billiards #buildinpublic update for today. Ran into limits using #claudecode, so I'm maxed out on #claudeai . Starting to trust Opus more for longer tasks, and got a number of screens implemented. The UI will be polished later on.
Bullseye Billiards #buildinpublic update for today. First feature scaffolding work went better than I expected, as I'm not giving too much for the agent to do which seems to produce more robust output. And I saved hours of time building out the data layer using #claudecode.
Bullseye Billiards #buildinpublic update for today: created the #Flutter project and wrote an architecture document. My thinking is that the structure of the codebase, dependency chains, and data flows are some of the most important guardrails when using AI to write code.
Going full transparent! Converting my iOS app Bullseye Billiards to Flutter so I can finally hit Android users too.
Will be posting the entire migration journey - wins, fails, and everything in between.

Swift developers: if you’re using Xcode 15 and spot any problems with it, or iOS 17, macOS Sonoma, etc, you need to file feedback reports *now*. Apple will already be looking at seed 3, so if you want any hope of your bugs being fixed before release it’s imperative you file ASAP.
