This TikTok ban isn’t a small issue - it has real financial and security implications that need serious consideration. But setting a precedent where laws and constitutional limits are ignored, just to address something like this, is far more dangerous in the long run.
Sure, he can 'promise' action, but until he’s sworn in, it’s all just talk. And even then, any action would still have to follow constitutional limits.
He’s not even president yet - his term starts tomorrow, so he has no authority to take action right now. Even when he is president, he can’t override Congress and the Supreme Court with an executive order. The Constitution doesn’t give him the power to ignore or rewrite laws.
@AaronRegunberg If Walz was coached he did an awful job. Also let's note that I can't tag him because X does a great job of disallowing that (vs Vance).
@AaronRegunberg How about noting how much "full screen" time JD got vs Tim. It was notable and sketchy and imbalanced. Also Tim Walz didn't mention Pence. Why does Trump's former VP literally support his opponent? That should be a fucking statement.
@AaronRegunberg I share a lot of your same values. Many of which, coincidentally, brought me to the very different conclusion of not reproducing. And I'm fine with it.
@kaylamellis_ At Rhode Island Hospital, the parking spot closest to the emergency room entrance, closer than most of the handicapped spots, is reserved for the physician of the year. in a lot that is otherwise designated for "patients and visitors only - no employees."

CLASSIC @jimbraude quote on @JimandMargery just now. Guest retelling a bad experience on a carnival ride. Jim responds "When you throw up on the Scrambler it affects many people, does it not?" 🤣
