@erichoke I know this has gotten some pushback but I couldn’t agree more. Yes, we need to be in the Word, but we are called to be Shepherds, not just teachers. Discipleship doesn’t come primarily through sermons but being WITH the flock.

@ErikReed I agree with all of these…they are spot on…but I would put at the top of the list a passion for fervent prayer. It’s not implied in most of our churches. We don’t gather to pray with expectant urgency for that which matters most to God. Growth must be HIS supernatural work.
