@pepie_21 @CoolSkelly_123 It is good, maybe bordering on great, but people have such mythically and unrealsitically high expectations of that series that anything that isn't some industry shaking masterwork is seen as a "failure".

Like realistically the series isn't going to stop because fans threw a tantrum over this game. It's not like nintendo or any developer has made some ultimatum statement like this anyway.

@DemieTournes @justinewingz Okay but metroid is still a largely solitary game that has a mute main character. If people didn't like the one nerdy guy then fine, but I would never put something like MP4 in the same box as God of war or forspoken. Like...metroid is still an actual video game 💀

@SliasCrowe @AnAverageGamerX I don't see how a nerdy tech character in a sci fi game is unforgivable. Yeah, he's probably the most millennial/"quirk chungus" a nintendo character will probably ever be, but it's not even a tenth of the level of egregiousness as the sassy jello cube.

@Chilly_MIV @SNESZombie OK. Like I said it's fine to admit the switch has a stronger library (mainly due to the fact many games are wii u ports and they obviously did not have to split development time with a handheld console) but the wii u still has more charm and personality.
