@BBCNews I had it in May. It was the worst thing I've ever had. Just got my taste back. Lungs still hollow. But no means of reporting it, or collecting data on which variant it was. Just strong antibiotics from my doctor to ease my puss filled sinuses. Best Wishes JF

@BBCSpringwatch Unusually, the sycamore seeds on next door's tree are bright red. It's just been exposed from a lower hawthorn canopy, so perhaps that's the answer. Our big sycamore has the usual green seeds in the making. Best Wishes, JF

@StartsWithABang Just out of interest ... I give the fundamental law of the Universe in my book, and the mechanism applying to particles, people and politics. Don't know what the fabric is. Feel particles are emergent, like everything else, from something we haven't touched yet. Best Wishes JF
