This is a catastrophic violation of the rights of American citizens. It should make every American angry but of course people will ignore the principle & view this through a partisan political lens while all the Trump haters will celebrate or dismiss it. The problem is that our media has done exactly that & the people crying about censorship & tyranny have suddenly lost their self-righteous outrage. So they’re fine with trampling all over the constitution now?
@nosoupforgeorge@WNBA needs to do damage control they r fallin into the extreme politics on both sides so much that they r goin to destroy the league that they want to play in...the in fightin/race baitin/sexuality battles/league owner not doin her job well/2024 season, WNBA lost 40-$50 million
In case you’ve forgotten, here is a reminder of where your tax dollars were going before this Admin took office. Shutting down USAID was critical. But they will go back to this in a heartbeat if they ever get the chance.
@jemelehill think both are actually not good for little kids to see...don't think we should have little kids watching executions nor have drag queens read to them. Agree on execution w/you but why do u see drag queens in front of little kids as healthy/appropriate for little kids?
@Cjhoward491back@TheAfrocentricI there's no trans athletes in WNBA, but there are trans athletes in some college sports, HS Sports, Jr High...and we saw in women's olympics in boxing trans man, see in Euro women's league a trans man playing...& we hear women sayin how uncomfortable they feel in locker rooms...
@Cjhoward491back@TheAfrocentricI what? create fake outrage lol, its exactly what you are doing...creating fake outrage over a made up narrative/twisting Cunningham's comments into in ur head being transphobic
If your position is “all Republicans are bad” or “all Democrats are bad,” you are a partisan political hack.
The particularly disingenuous version is the hired-gun consultant who switches parties, suddenly reverses every previously held policy preference, and remains just as incapable of distinguishing between better and worse politicians. That is less an evolution in earnest convictions and more a change in customers.
The Lincoln Project crowd has helped turn this posture into a business model. Tara Setmayer, its former senior adviser, certainly didn’t appreciate my pointing that out. The uninitiated can read the New York Times reporting on the group's scandals: https://t.co/PbAlguIhe7
We need more people in politics and punditry willing to acknowledge that things need not always be black and white—or red and blue.
There are good Democrats and bad Democrats. There are good Republicans and bad Republicans.
In both parties, we need less radicalism and more common sense moderation.
In 2015, Anthony Fauci went on various news programs and praised an Ebola vaccine trial. In his private diary, he wrote it had a "terribly flawed study design" and that the data were "not statistically significant." His reason for staying quiet? "We cannot criticize the study since that is exactly what the press is looking for."
Public health runs on trust. You don't earn it by saying one thing on TV and another in your diary.

@Cjhoward491back@TheAfrocentricI she was asked a ? from a reporter, she didnt start protestin about it. ppl on both sides r the problem, both sides ran w/what she stated which isn't controversial, "I want to protect young girls in a locker room/young girls in sport who shouldn't have 2 go against biological men
@Duffal0 this occurs on both sides. there r ppl that will vote party line no matter what, i think we should take political tests & take the citizenship test just to help get everyone educated more on things...honestly we just need better candidates runnin on both sides
@laralogan honestly we the ppl deserve better candidates on both sides...stuff like this should be detrimental but we live in a time where u vote no matter what on party lines...i honestly think him losing 100,000s of immigrant children should not qualify him to run
@TheTNHoller@jamestalarico@TeamTalaricoHQ explain to me why more $ has gone into NGO's in CA & homelessness has increased? we send tons of tax $ to homelessness...the real problem is we have corruption in those programs/ngos/politicians...we spend enough right now that should curb homelessness, govt keeps wantin more $
@JayNCtoDC AR is a great glue player & plays a role really well...she is similar to Draymond Green, impactful for sure but not the best player on the team. U r startin a team & are asked who to pick between AR or CC & majority of ppl are goin with Clark cuz she is better & more impactful
