Andrea Pedro-Francisco‘s life is on the line because ICE is denying her proper medical care. 

Mere days before she was detained by ICE, Andrea was set to have a tennis-ball-sized ovarian cyst removed. The pain was so excruciating that she was given opioid painkillers. Now, ICE only gives her Tylenol.

Every day she has been in ICE custody without treatment has been a step closer to catastrophe.
Andrea was a child when she came to Minnesota as an asylum seeker with her mother.

Time and time again, we’ve seen this played out: a family comes here through LEGAL CHANNELS, such as asylum or work visas. They follow every conceivable law, and yet ICE is still detaining them, hiding them from their families, denying them medical care, and deporting them.

Andrea and the countless other detainees deserve medical care. The cruelty must end. If we truly care about other people, we would see that this treatment is disgusting. Justice for Andrea NOW.
