Jac Caglionone had 1.025 OPS over 264 Milb at bats in 2025…

He had a .532 OPS in 210 MLB at bats in 2025….

He had a 1.419 OPS his junior year at Florida in 2024….

Jac uses the muscles of motor tract 2 on his right side when he’s at his best…..

He uses the muscles of motor tract 5 on his right side when he’s at his worst….

He’s using motor tract 5 so far this spring….

Watch his right wrist as it “turns over” through the baseball and you can see why motor tract 5 produces such awful results.

There is no reason that Jac should ever use motor tract 5 to swing a bat but since nobody in the Royals org knows what causes it to happen they haven’t been able to help him be at his best.
