Believe it or not it’s actually incredibly dangerous one company $NVDA now controls global markets, global inflation, and the US and European governments.
It’s the first time it’s ever happened in history. Government policy is literally being built around Jensen Huang.
Goobers on socials with bios like "Ai artist/Ai filmmaker/Ai storyteller," etc
If you weren't doing any of the above before Ai came along, I've got bad news for you...
Also, fuck you.
amount of clients saying they "made" something, then send me the most generic dogshit design of all time clearly churned out by ChatGPT continues to accelerate at a rapid pace, multimillion dollar companies don't care that they look and sound like a malfunctioning robot's asshole
Masako Nozawa comments on the use of generative AI in voice acting:
"I can't forgive using it without asking. I want people to follow the rules.”
After watching AI videos of her voice: "This is not my voice. Using it without asking is unforgivable. It's the same as stealing, and it makes me angry. My voice is mine, and my acting is mine too. If anyone uses even a little of it, they should get permission."
"What (AI) makes might sound like me. It might even be a perfect copy. But it has no heart, does it? Without heart, it's no good, whatever the role. Even a voice that's only crying is different when you cry with real feeling. That's what I believe."
To young people aiming to become voice actors in the AI era: "Work hard so that people say, as a voice actor, it absolutely has to be that person. Without heart, you're just reading the letters of the lines, so make them living words."
VARA AI fund, a major AI-focused hedge fund, which dropped 44% in July 2026 is now rumored to have blown up
Founded in 2022 and managing about 20-26B in mid-2026, heavily invested in infrastructure, data centers, and power companies
I am begging everyone to understand how fucking insane it is that we have children selling wrapping paper, running laps and begging relatives for donations to fund public education while private companies get public money to build enormous computers. It shouldn't be like this.
it's worth taking seriously the multi-pronged cultural project to anthropomorphize AI, legal project to establish precedents for legal rights for LLMs (or maybe more practically as corporations), and theological lobbying to elevate them to an ambiguous state on the level of souls
Not sure who needs to hear this but....
An LLM doesn't "understand" anything. It is a statistical model that spews out tokens based on probabilities calculated through massive matrix operations and context, not an understanding of the subject matter.
This was NOT a mistake. This was a deliberate voter suppression tactic that was deployed with the hopes that no one would notice.
First: We need an immediate influx of help to get these registrations processed before Monday.
Second: We need a ROBUST process to ensure that anyone who votes using a provisional ballot is able to track and confirm that their vote was tallied.
Third: We MUST vote in numbers that exceed the suppression gap.
Fourth: Once the election is over, I want to see an immediate investigation launched into who knew what and when - starting with the question of why the state’s top election official (Sec. of State) abruptly resigned only a couple of months before this election, only to be replaced by Greedy Greg’s handpicked election-denying, tin-foil-hat-wearing lackey?
DON’T MESS WITH TEXAS, (expletive). 😤😤😤
It’s hard to see bubbles and fraud for most people. This isn’t a shot at Seeking Alpha, it’s a serious post.
When people go all in on dips in a bubble they lose everything. Nearly 4,500 suicides in the US were attributed to the housing and internet crash.
Many lost everything. The $NVDA and asset bubble is far worse with most household wealth in the US tied up in homes and stocks.
Why does everything feel fake?
We have a Congress that won't pass something 83% people want.
We have courts that release criminals faster than police can arrest them.
We have schools that graduate kids who can’t read.
We have colleges that charge $200K for degrees that don’t get you jobs.
We have a non-profit system that profits from our tax dollars.
We have a health care industry that profits from you staying sick.
We have “representatives” who don’t represent us.
We have “news” networks that report opinions and call them facts.
We have an insurance industry that fights every single claim.
None of it works the way they tell you it works.
And deep down, everyone knows it.
It just all feels so so fake…
No private individual should have the power to cut an entire nation off from the internet, especially when people are fighting for their survival. When essential communication depends on the decisions of one billionaire, we’ve allowed far too much public power to fall into private hands.
