@waltshaub Last year, 17-month-old baby, Juliet, was returned to her mom. Asylum seekers from Honduras. Separated & caged by ICE for months. This is the scene from SFO. Listen to her cries. Bear witness. This is trauma. This is too much.
@FoN9ne Yeah, same Shehawks who are living like it’s 1995. Oh wait that’s the Niners. Who’s won 10 out of 24 division titles and 2 Super Bowls since realignment? Sorry, Tomsula-lover, it’s not the Niners.
@themoststableG@LombardiHimself Most objective observers would easily say that the Seahawks and Rams drafted much better in 2024 and 2025 than the Niners. Go back to 2023 and the Seahawks drafted two All-Pros and the Rams one.
@LombardiHimself Also, my point was who improved more? I think most objective observers would say that the Seahawks young players improved more than the 49ers.
Certain reporters in the Bay Area are so sensitive. And they’ll interact with you on Twitter in ways that if you used their same language back to them, they would block you. Such sensitivity is unbecoming, in my opinion.
@timkawakami I wasn’t saying that it didn’t matter; just that I don’t think it carries as much weight as others do. When I look at how much the Seahawks improved by the end of last year, I think that they should be favored over the Niners even with a healthy Bosa and Warner.
@timkawakami That’s a good point. Seahawks made the same calculation about Price. It takes two to tango and if you can’t trade down you need to make a decision.
@timkawakami Even with full roster health, if the teams were to face off early in the year, my money would be on the Seahawks. Even more so at Game 17 next year. We should expect 49er injuries bc of age and overuse of key players.
@timkawakami I see this (“But also, the 49ers beat the Seahawks on the road in Week 1 last year”) quite a bit. I think it deserves less weight than folks give it bc: 1) The Seahawks young players sig improved over the season; and 2) 49ers roster is old. Key players will cont to get injured
Getting Mike Evans is also trying to get a direct answer vs the Seahawks. At some point you have to spread out and hit a go-ball. Rams have been able to do it and SF just didn’t have that guy until now.
