@Barry4the44th@PiersUncensored@piersmorgan I speak from experience. Some of the smaller contributing nations had national caveats, others didn't. The ones I worked with the most were not fettered.
@kettleoverapub @PiersUncensored@piersmorgan Yes, on my last tour in 2018 after NATO had handed over combat ops to the ANA, I was an advisor/mentor to the ANA training command. Before that I was mostly embedded with the Afghan army and doing other stuff. Also served in an Infantry Battalion in Iraq and on other operations.
@Barry4the44th@PiersUncensored@piersmorgan Applies to some of the smaller contingents but British Task Force had other NATO elements attached including Danes and Estonians who were in the thick of the fighting too.
@Johnbloodrage@Johnyy_bravooo@PiersUncensored@piersmorgan Never been 'sat in an office'. For the most part embedded with the Afghan National Army, last tour was after combat ops had been handed over and I was mentoring and advising the Afghan training command. Also served in an infantry battalion in Iraq etc.
Volodymyr Zelensky is NOT a dictator.
Vladimir Putin IS a dictator.
Zelensky didn’t start the war in Ukraine.
Putin did.
Hope this clarifies things for anyone who is confused.

The lantern lit on the Burwash Village Memorial tonight to commemorate Lt John Kipling, Killed in Action on this day in 1915 at Loos aged 18. ‘Their name liveth for evermore’ #FWW#Loos#rudyardkipling@sommecourt
A father remembers a son: Rudyard Kipling (left, top hat) at the unveiling of the Loos Memorial in 1930 where his son was commemorated as one of the missing. John Kipling, from the small Sussex village of Burwash, died at Loos with the Irish Guards #OTD in 1915 and Rudyard paid for a bugler to sound the Last Post here every evening, until his death in 1936.
@Kathryn_fr Whenever I’ve met any Welch Korean veterans since then I always mention him and they always speak very fondly of him and with great respect. Sadly few remain of that great generation. My best wishes to your family.
