@pretentiouswhat You either have a very efficient home or a much bigger tank! I'm in PA and get about 4 deliveries a year. One of those is probably due to the fact that the boiler runs year round because it supplies domestic hot water. Do call it three deliveries for heat.

@smartereveryday I have wanted to implement an idea like this ever since reading the book cheaper by the dozen. The father is an efficiency expert, and he has the kids submit contractor bids on extra chores (e.g. removing a stump from the yard).
