Any word on when we might see the Northern Lights tonight in Ohio? I'm hearing midnight-2 a.m., but maybe not until 5 a.m. Last night was pretty sweet. Hoping for an encore. #Auroraborealis
Pretty excited to have reached 33,500+ words on my novel! Aiming to finish draft by Jan. 1. Lots of words to go, but charged up by what I have so far. Really enjoying watching this world unfold and expand through this process. More updates when I have them. #novel#WIP#writer
Speaking of #FirstContact, please tell me someone is already planning a #StarTrek convention and screening of the movie on April 5, 2063, in Bozeman, Montana.
Happy Anniversary, Robin Hood! Nine years since the brothers Huntingdon faced off for the first time and the Plantagenets came to Sherwood β this was a brilliant weekend. Thanks to @StreetTheatreCo for inviting me back to Nashville to write this play all those years ago!
Seriously, that finale was perfect. The whole series. @LokiOfficial is one of my favorite MCU stories and has many of my favorite MCU characters. Thank you, @twhiddleston and everyone involved for telling that story. Enjoyed every moment. #loki#LokiSeason2#gloriouspurpose
Apparently I joined this platform as @jeremywrites 14 years ago. Wow. Did you know I had another profile before that? Started in 2006, and it co-existed briefly with this one when I used to keep creativity separate from work. Bringing them together has yielded far more happiness.
I've been so immersed in script writing for so long that this return to novel writing (which is how I first started writing as a kid) has reminded me how much I love books, how much I loved reading in my youth, and how each medium has its own delightful perks. #WritingCommunity
By adapting one of my plays into a novel, I thought "great, awesome, I already have everything set, scene by scene; instant outline!" I'm delighted by how quickly my brain found new opportunities to explore these characters and expand this world. #WritingCommunity#WIP#Writer
Trying something new, creatively. Switching it up a tiny bit from playwriting to novel writing by adapting one of my plays. I'm 8,200 words in, and it's both fun and fascinating to expand this world beyond the dialogue and what happened on stage. #WritingCommunity#wip#Writer
@mssakshinarula Hi! Our cat Amara always helps cheer me up or calm me down β she our little empath. She always knows when anyone is upset and needs a friend. I hope she can virtually lift you up a bit today, too. Sorry you were feeling deflated earlier. Wishing you a better tomorrow.
Wishing you all a magical year! May the good times be plentiful and the bad times fleeting. May laughter embrace you like a dear friend, and may any tears be a comfort as they fall. May you live in every moment fully, never taking even one for granted.
Our days are not promised, but they are ours while we have them. May yours be filled with love, and your nights filled with dreams.
And when the days seem rough, I hope you can find joy in the simple wonders of life. They're all around us. May they fuel and inspire you.
@klhicks912 All of them. I've started so many books over the course of my life that are just prologues and opening chapters. And those stories and characters are still in my brain. After years of playwriting and figuring out how to finish a story there, I'm trying a novel again for 2023.
