Within the last week, I've made the decision to pivot https://t.co/ybfbmlyunw from a to-do and project showcase app to a to-do and social posting app.
Users are not using the showcase section, but I've unintentionally realised that I've got great data from the users using the app for projects and to-dos.
And this realisation means I'm pivoting the project.
No, it's not just another scheduling app. It's going to be something that I don't think anyone else is doing.
Quietly, quite excited.
The solo dev grind is quiet, but it is steady.
If you are staring at a bug that makes no sense today, take a walk.
It will still be there in 30 minutes, and you will probably solve it in 5 once you are back.

Day 21 building in public:
Currently tweaking the buildinpublic challenge functionality on SideHub.
It's incrementally getting better and smarter.

Solo founders - what's on the roadmap today?
I'm curious what everyone is pushing live this week.
Drop a link or tell me what you're cooking below :)

Most devs treat lead generation like a secondary task.
I’m currently digging into https://t.co/P4tZpLP5vd to automate this part of SideHub v2. Trying to move away from manual outreach and see if I can actually scale the top of the funnel.
Has anyone else used Apollo for early-stage SaaS? Any tips?

Day 20 of building SideHub v2.
Deep in the weeds of the analytics dashboard - refining user engagement tracking to see what actually hooks people.
Also making progress on the iOS native views. Nothing beats the feel of a real app over a browser tab.

Stripe integration is next on the list for DevSMTP.
There is something about handling payments that makes the whole project feel 'real' - but also a little nerve-wracking.
Anyone else get that mini-anxiety spike when setting up billing? 😅
