Mets prospect Brett Baty has been named the Player of the Week for the first week of the Arizona Fall League season.
He hit .444/.565/.722 with 3 doubles, triple, and 3 RBIs in six games.
Some numbers from Baseball Savant on the Mets in their AFL debuts:
-Carlos Cortes: 102.1 mph triple
-Brett Baty: 106.5 mph & 108.7 mph singles
-Brian Metoyer: 3103 rpm average on curve (would ranked 7th in majors) and 3252 rpm max
-Colin Holderman: max velo 97.8 mph
